Looks like Zemia is the witness that the Mercer’s never considered. Will a talking puppet hold up as a witness in a court of law?
(I think there’s probably a better chance than you might otherwise expect, when said puppet has a friend who can set things on fire, but you never know…)
It never crossed my mind about a talking puppet in the court of law. Though if that were to happen, I’m guessing the focus would be more on the talking puppet than this issue at hand.
That’s a superhero thing, exploding out of your clothes to reveal your secret identity. Although that does remind me of that one unfortunate time that Clark Kent forgot that he wasn’t wearing his Superman suit when he ducked into the phone booth. Well, someone is about to go on the warpath. And, if you don’t mind the pun, I would say that Nori will have a hand in this.
I’m an Indian and I don’t recall that I’ve ever been on the warpath. Have I been missing something?
I’m not too familiar with superheroes – I like Batman because he technically has no true super powers (and we both trained in Kyokushin) A couple or years ago or so Marvel did arrange to keep me on reserve to translate and provide voice direction in Apache, but they decided not to use the character before they sent me any scripts. That was probably for Warpath. I will be providing voices and voice direction in both Apache and Norse (from my graduate studies) in a couple of games coming up this month, but those are both historical-based
My detailed research (ie, a quick web search) reveals Warpath is an Apache with the mutant powers of superhuman strength and speed. At least he’s lasted a lot longer than his older brother, Thunderbird.
Now that I think about it, I guess I could have done a web search too. I was just thinking off the top of my head when I was typing, as I remembered reading X-Force or one of the X-books and seeing him briefly. As for Thunderbird, I’ve never heard of him. Gonna do a quick web search on him. 🙂
Is it sad that I REALLY can’t wait to see the look on all of their faces. I mean, just the confused look on Nori’s face alone seeing her puppet talk to Audrey’s puppets, while expected, you can tell she wasn’t prepared for that at all.
Now the Mercer’s, I REALLY hope they wet themselves over the matter. They deserve it so much to burn in a fiery pit of punishment in a prison at that. (I’m sorry for sounding bitter, but as I mentioned previously, I hate people like this who think the world owes them 10x over, when they are the fault for so much pain in good people’s lives that they contaminate and harm) (Yes, I realize this is a story, AND A REALLY ADDICTING ONE TOO. Still, doesn’t mean I can’t root for the heroes)
Audrey’s folks, going to be confused, then look of “This explains SO MUCH why she’s into these puppets”. I’m calling it now, because I am already guessing they’re going to love this puppet standing up for Nori, Audrey, and the other puppets.

Hm…..now that I’m reminded…isn’t there a Marvel Comics character named Warpath?

Rant over X3
It’s not sad in the least. I had a similar feeling as I was leading up to drawing this page. Seriously.
Oooh, Ze,is is OVER IT.
And with good reason…
Go, Zemia!
Long overdue
I’m from a state where the testimony of a ghost convicted a murderer, so, yeah, anything can happen!
um…. -speechless-
