So I have a feeling that John and Tabitha will adopt Nori while Audri will go back an deal with stuff at home. But in the end she will still be able to see them and be with them somehow
…..Sadly, and Honestly, I’ve been thinking this theory since before the chapter started with the way this path has been going. Especially after realizing Nori is still with those awful people
The Feels though…..on both sides, don’t want Audrey to go, but needs to. And if John & Tabitha didn’t do the right thing by adopting Nori (Which be honest we already know it’ll happen most likely), I’d likely just scream in shock. Maybe some confuzled profanity.
With everything written and done so far, I suspect a sad, but good ending for all our heroes, John & Tabitha, Audrey and The Nine (Which I hope we get a glimpse on that story of what happens), Nori getting her overdue deserved good home, even the sweet old lady who Audrey helped early on.
Courtney, I know it’s a friend who writes the story, but the creative artistry has, and is wonderful, and your friend knows how to pull those heart strings well. Once this sadly ends, I can’t wait to see what you have next 🙂
“Hahaha…you, Kelsie, and your silly theories…” -Nervous laughter- Seriously though, I can’t wait to reveal all the goodies of the last two chapters of this story. For me personally, it’s actually been the most emotional material I’ve ever worked on. When I presented it to the writer, I was all testosterone-excited to show scenes of Asa flying Audrey around, while Opon and Nema battled each other. But when she sat me down and discussed core story elements such as foster homes, social status, bullying, etc, I quickly changed my tune. I knew those topics were in the story from the beginning, but I did not anticipate the execution from the writer. It’s one thing to discuss a chapter synopsis–it’s another to get the full script. And each script pulled at my heart strings. So yeah, I know how you feel. And I hope by the end, that you and others walk away satisfied. 🙂
OK so imma put one in. She takes John, Tabitha, Nori, Audrey, and the Nine. Everyone goes. What’s keeping John and Tabitha here, their circle of “friends”? Nori’s unattached except to these evil people, and if *they* lose Nori permanently, and babble on about some magic thing that took them away, they will probably be prevented from any further fostering/adoption.
Of course then I don’t know if we get to see what’s behind the locked door.
I like it!!! Though I must admit, your theory just spawned a (useless) idea for me. It might have been cool to send the Mercers to Vorgon, instead. That would only be a temporary solution, but still an effective one. 🙂
I think Zemia is jumping the gun a little. What could Audrey even do if she went back to Vorgon right now? Audrey has only begun to explore her skillset, so she’d probably be captured, or worse, immediately upon return, if she went now.
The really sad thing is, it’s easy to find examples of the system messing up both ways. Sometimes they fail to remove children from what should have been an obviously dangerous situation. Sometimes they do remove children who were never abused or endangered. Even more depressing, I’m really not sure how to fix this.

Anyway, there’s my random.

Agreed. She’s tired of being a puppet and just wants to go home and get back her normal body. #selfish
Just kidding 😛
I’m just hoping they ALL get to go to Vorgon, including the cat and dog (but not the Dursleys–I mean, Merciers).
HA! The Mercers are sadly, right up there with the Dursleys and Miss Hannigan.
I second your emotion.
The Mercers seem to constantly remind me of my former step-dad. *shudder*
How the heck did the Mercers get cleared of charges? I will never understand the system.
